16 OZ Vanilla frosting
Food coloring of your choice (optional)
The Process
Step 1
Bake cupcakes using your favorite cupcake recipe.
Step 2
Let cool and frost each cupcake with a wild or shaggy frosting fur look using piping tips or a spoon; add food coloring to frosting for an extra burst of color.
Step 3
Cut or mold airheads into eyes, tongues, or tentacles – this is your chance to be creative!
Step 4
Insert into frosting, using toothpicks or lollipop sticks for support.
