This international smash-hit may be the most popular musical in the world. In 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a life-long struggle for redemption as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change.
Now in its 28th year, RLT produces a wide variety of plays, musicals and special events at the historic Victory Theater in downtown Rogers. With a subscription base of more than 375 members and funding support from some of the area’s most prominent businesses, foundations and community groups, RLT is a vibrant part of the region. Over 20,000 audience members attended RLT productions in the past two seasons, and the theater relies on more than 700 volunteers, including approximately 150 volunteer actors. Their donations of time, talents and financial resources bring vitality and strength to RLT.
RLT is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
