Gretchen Laffoon

Gretchen Laffoon joined the Celebrate Arkansas team in March 2016 as the Director of External Relations. She serves as the primary staff liaison to the area non-profits to assure their events are promoted and covered.

Gretchen has sincere passion for community, dedicating not only her career but also her personal time as well. She has served on numerous boards of directors and committees over the years with a focus on workforce, community, economic development and children’s charities.

She is committed to causes that work to eliminate domestic violence towards women and children, particularly the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas where she has held leadership roles on several committees. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas and is Committee Pack Chair and Den Leader for the Cub Scouts of Pack 12, Rogers.

Gretchen is a native Kansas girl who has made Northwest Arkansas her home for over 12 years. She and her husband, Gary, have two beautiful sons, Jackson and Austin. When not leading her son’s Cub Scout Pack, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts at the Walmart AMP, exploring the Natural State and entertaining in her home. She is avid fan of the University of Kansas Jayhawks and the St. Louis Cardinals.
